①旧厚田村発祥地の碑。 ②約300年前から和人が往来し、１万人を越える人々が鰊や鮭漁の季節労働に従事していた。特に押琴はその地形から天然の良港として多くの弁財船が来航し、運上屋も建ち、賑わいを見せていたという。
