This place was amazing! This is a multi-course meal. We did lunch and the service and quality of the food was fantastic. We had two vegetarians in our group and they were great about accommodating with vegetable only tempura. I can't say enough great thing about this place! Please go!

Beautiful experience, amazing service and skillful chef. Expensive though but you do pay for the experience. Dinner tempura sets available: JPY10,000 and JPY50,000.

Really good tempura at a higher price point, but this is fine dining so it’s to be expected! Nestled in a quiet side street only 5 mins walk away from the Higashi Chaya district in a Japanese style house, the chef cooks directly for you behind a counter, behind him a zen Japanese garden. Batter was tasty and light, and all ingredients fresh, though we were surprised to be served Fugu even though it was not seasonal. Definitely worth a visit while in Kanazawa.

The host and chef were amazing. Very friendly and accommodating! There food was great and I left with a full belly. While I thought the price was high at first, the service and quality was greater value than what I paid. Highly recommend!
