先代駅長は引退か亡くなられたかで今は親族の方が管理されているようです。親族の方は滅多に会う事はできませんが、とても親切です。 山犬嶽登山道は見晴らしが悪いため、この山の駅で休憩がてら展望を楽しむのが良いかと。
