Came here without knowing anything, with a bare minimum Japanese. They still try to help me. for free. The staffs are nice, and being as helpful as possible.

This office describes itself as Foreigners' Employment Assistance and Guidance Center, yet the english support is very minimal, which results in long time intervals between visits. Depending on the day and the person attending you, they either try to help you a lot with the job search or just hand you some leftover job offers. This institution is a kind of a paradox. If you only speak english, you'll barely get some part time job offers, the same ones as on Craigslist. On the other hand, if you know japanese, there are lots of websites that allow you to instantly apply for jobs, and you usually receive a call on the same day. Unless you live close to Shinjuku, going here is pretty much a waste of time and money.
It's a free service that help foreigner find a job in Japan. You can call them and get an appointment with an English/Japanese interpreter, or just come when you want if you already speak japanese correctly. The staff is very friendly they have a good amount of opportunity and they are very actif to help you. Very nice service!
【1Fに総合案内窓口が必要だと思う】 初めて来所する人にとって手続き関係が複雑で、さらに案内窓口が複雑だと困ってしまう人が多いのではないでしょうか？ そのためにも入口すぐに総合案内窓口があった方がトラブルが少なくなると感じました。 西新宿エルタワーのハローワークは入口すぐに、案内窓口で「何番受付です」と案内されるので煩わしさがないのでストレスが少なく感じます。 スペースの確保が難しいかもしれませんが、簡易的なもので構わないので、案内窓口設置のご検討のほどよろしく願い致します。
