Within the woodworking building (class and shop) there is a fantastic wooden play area for small children. It is free to use, you just have to sign in with your surname, area and numbers e.g 1 adult and 4 children. Everything, except for a couple of blackboards, is made of wood. Very earthen, calming and stimulating for kids. You take your shoes off to play. If you want to take a woodwork class you need to book in advance. There are two half day classes - one in the morning, one in the afternoon - or you can book a full day. The closest parking is the one at the mini steam locomotive.
