This school is featured in an anime called Minami Kamakura Girls High School Cycling Club. The school and also the surroundings are resembling the places shown in the animation strongly. So it is not surprising that it attracts tourists and anime fans. Maybe the school should place a sign in front of the gate, saying that this is an actual school and not a place for anime pilgrimage. It’s an unfortunate things but every place that is featured in an anime will become popular with foreigners who love anime. So I ask the Japanese people to be friendly and explain the situation and I ask foreigners to respect the privacy of the students and not tale photos of children and staff and not enter the school without permission!

聖地巡禮！
観光できました。鎌倉高校生が七里ヶ浜駅の椅子を 占領していて常に使えませんでした。 それは良きにしろ妊婦さんにも譲る姿勢が 誰一人なかった為非常にショックです。 治安が悪いのでしょうか？
学生の江ノ電のマナーが悪すぎる。
10년전 슬램덩크의 성지라는 이유로 갔었다. 학교 교사가 나를 신기하게 여겼고 학생들과 체육수업을 듣게 해주었다. 학생들은 친절했고 다같이 모여 사진을 찍었다. 10년뒤 다시 찾아왔을때 관광객 출입금지라고 적혀있었다. 아쉽지만 이해한다. 이곳은 엄연히 학교다. 학생과 교사가 최우선이 되어야 한다고 생각한다. ここは学校です 観光地ではありません。 这里是学校。 不是旅游胜地。 This is a school, not a tourist destination.
