Our favourite takoyaki! We always get the one with the green onion. The location in akihabara is really close to the subway entrance and it's slightly inside a strip mall (keeps you away from the cold and the wind). It also has a small standing area with high tables on the side, oh, and they also provide a big garbage bin (which is a luxury, if you know how hard it is to find a garbage bin in Japan).

Popular takoyaki shop within walking distance of Akihabara station, offering cheap and delicious battered octopus balls in little bamboo boats. Relatively short wait times, and you can watch your takoyaki being grilled through the shop windows. Tip: The alcove next to the store provides standing counters for customers.

Saw this shop when my boyfriend and I were exiting at the Akihabara Station to transfer to Hibiya Line. Tsukiji Gindaco has a lot of branches in Tokyo and they sell delicious taiyaki and takoyaki! I especially like the bread of their taiyaki since it's crispy and flaky, I think they're made up of puff pastry! Yum! On the right side of the shop is a small, free standing bar counter where you can eat your food!
