I walked by here just out of curiosity and randomly stopped by. Only 1,000 for good quality pork lunch that comes with veggies and rice with 150g of pork. Definitely enough food for lunch for me but maybe little less for people who eats a lot. Then you can always order extra meat on top it. The reason I have one star less is that they had soup already placed on the table before we got there instead of bringing it fresh. Even tho it’s boiling, I wasn’t sure how I feel abt it. It might be just the lunch thing, but if u are picky about these things, u might feel weird.

Excellent meats (beef rib, pork and duck) and the staff were wonderful. Not cheap but quality is there. Lunch sets might be more value.
We visited at lunch time at very busy summer sale tume. We didn't have to wait at all. Good price for the service and food quality.
Good environment with OIOI sight view and very reasonable price, high cost performance
The Shabu Shabu here was tasty, because we chose the best quality of meat they had. The meat and veg were of good quality. The Chinese noodles at the end were good, but only a very small portion. However, the waiter did not give me time to finish my meal and brought out the dessert when I was still eating my Shabu Shabu. I was utterly shocked at the time and found it slightly rude. Also, I normally like to finish my Shabu Shabu, as I enjoy the taste of the soup even when the meat is finished, but with a pot still half way full they took it and moved it aside after making the noodles. The service in that sense was not great especially with the timing of the dessert. For the price we paid I would have expected a much higher standard of service. Otherwise, great view and good food. It was a nice touch that they gave us origami at the end.
I have only tried shabu shabu once before, and my expectations were very high, high average on Google and a hefty price. The starter didn't let me down, but the rest was not out of the ordinary. We ordered a dish with very expensive meats, but I don't think we got the value out of it. We might of have done some parts slightly wrong, but the staff helped us along and if think we did it correctly. The room was loud, and a guy in a other party had quite an manic laughter which got annoying after a while. The resturant is nicely decorated, and the staff did a good job even though it seemed like a busy night. Our view was quite dull and all in all I would not recommend this resturant as it is pricey.
I've only had US version (with a Japanese friend) of Shabu Shabu and this experience really blew me away. I'm not sure how "authentic" or "affordable" this restaurant is but we enjoyed every bite! The service, like in most Japanese restaurants was excellent and the host did a fantastic job in his best English to explain what all the items were and how to properly "shabu shabu." We went for the Duck and the Ribeye; both are fantastic!
One of the best Matsusaka Shabu in tokyo. Highly recommended!!
