This barber shop is great! The owner is not only really nice, but is excellent at what he does. Great sense of style and attention to detail. Best place I’ve been to in Kyoto and I’ve tried quite a lot!

Very good barber, he pays a lot of attention to details. Been here twice now and both times came back very satisfied. I left it up to him to do the hairstyle. There’s a slight language barrier but since my first time he’s learning English and had become much better. Definitely can recommend, not your cheapest barber, but very good price for quality.

Ko is a great barber! Best haircut I’ve ever had! As a visiting tourist I wasn’t sure about where to get a buzz cut and a shave in Kyoto. Very glad I read reviews and went! Go see Ko - you’ll be glad you did!

From google review, I thought this place was more foreign friendly. Sadly, the owner just refused my foreign friend to enter the store by simple hand gesture without saying anything. Don’t go there if you can’t book by phone in Japanese. Otherwise you will end up feeling sad.

Just like the other people that posted, great experience despite not speaking much Japanese. Really good cut and shave. He will pay a lot of attention and detail to match your requirements and make sure you are satisfied with your hair cut and style. The owner is a really nice guy too!
