I'm not Japanese and self-traveling in Obihiro. They give me lots of assistance. You can buy lots of day tourist suites here. A suite includes Go and Back bus ticket, site entrance ticket, and some coupon if avaliable. Most surprising thing is: If the transportation require taxi, they will help you arrange the driver. When you arrive the switching spot, the taxi already waiting for you. Made you feel like an VIP. I haven't seen any thing like it in other places. They really really do a great job. You could also rent a bycle here, they got various type. All well-prepared. And the cost is really low. The building it self is multifunction. The Japanese standard super clean Rest room, free of course. Some chairs for waiting or taking short rest. And some small locker if you need to store your bag. We do enjoying site seeing in Obihiro, and the bus station and their sevices really really do a excellent job.

以前は札幌帯広間はJRのみ利用でしたが、台風などでJRでが使えないことがありそのため急遽使用。使ってみると大変便利で。1号車の予約を確保できれば3列シートですしWIFIも無料でつながる。JRで移動するとトンネル間は全くスマホの電波すら圏外になる現状なので時間がかかってもWIFIが使えるが大変良い。冬場の移動でもバスは上記のターミナルでギリギリまで暖の取れる温かい場所で待つこともできる。JRも1Fに待合室がありますがそれでもホームで待つ時間がある程度必要で辛いのですがバスターミナルと乗り場は数メートルなので真冬でも辛くない 願わくは1号車のみの3列シートではなく臨時もそうなってくれると嬉しい。1号車と別の臨時車両では乗り心地に天と地の差ができてしまう。

2019.02.23(土) 帯広to札幌(3770) 都市間高速バス(ポテトライナー) 9:00／帯広 発 12:35／札幌 着 ※この特急は土日祝日のみ 急遽 札幌へいく予定ができたので、電話で確認もせず時間ギリギリに予約センターへ. 受付のお姉さんは冷静かつ丁寧に受付を済ませてくださいました.(所要時間約5分) 満席でキャンセル待ちですと告げられたすぐに、キャンセルが入るという幸運.そして天候にも恵まれ綺麗な雪景色を満喫し、良き1日になりました:)
