Great deal! Condition of the van was very good. Well-equipped including all you can think of for camping and cooking. It was very easy to travel with it throughout Hokkaido. Many campsites all over that include an onsen most of the time and comfortable area for cooking. With the storage box on the roof there is plenty of room. The chairs fold down and on it there is a very comfortable mattress. Only think that could be added is a blanket that would have saved the trouble of bringing sleeping bags. Other than that everything was perfect. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!!!

Great car rental service. Paul is a great guy, easy to talk to, helpful advice and very accommodating. The car we rented was in great condition, very clean, easy to use and equipped with useful extras such as a ski rack, FM transmitter and phone holder.

This was the PERFECT van to chase snow around Hokkaido for two weeks for a group of 6-9 people. * Most importantly, the snow tires and wipers were top notch. We spent our entire 12 days driving on snow-covered and, at times, very icy roads, and the van performed as well or better than my car at home, which has all wheel drive and snow tires. I am very comfortable driving in snow, but only in the right equipment, and this van performed exceptionally. * The space in the van (Hiace) was plenty to fit skis under the seat, large bags in the back, and get 9 people seated with seat belts. With 9 people, including the front bench seat, it was a bit snug, but doable. When we only had 6 people on part of our trip, the spacing was ideal. Again, the rear area can hold a LOT of gear. * Kim and Paul were quick in their communication. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and even were able to accommodate our request for different pick up and drop off locations and times. If you are looking for a van to get you and your crew around Hokkaido during the winter, this is the place to go! -JOEL

Great service! We rented a camper van and travelled around Shiribeshi for a week. IMO it’s the best way to experience the area and lets you travel at your own pace and off the beaten track. All of the free campsites are really nice and clean- blew me away really. The van came equiped with all the gear we needed, and the bed was super comfortable. We just stopped to pick up food and were good to go. Could not recommend these guys more.

We rented 2 vans from Peak in January 2018. Before arriving Kim was amazingly helpful and responsive by email answering all my many questions. Pick up was easy and the cars amazing. We had French mountain guides driving the vans and both commented they were the best winter vans they'd ever driven. They were comfy and clean but most importantly amazing for the awful driving conditions. The roads were constantly icy or snowy but the vans coped perfectly making driving easier and safer. We'd definitely use Peak again
