This station is the best way to reach COSTCO by train. It has a Rosen Supermarket in the station shopping center along with many other shops. There is Doutor Coffee on 2F next to station stairs and a convenient 100 Yen Shop. Every train except the Limited Express stops here. Accessibility for those in wheelchairs by way of elevators.

It's a good stop if you want to walk to Atsugi Naval Base (if you want the bus then stop at Sagami-Otsuka). Accepts all lines except limited express.

駅のない基地の街綾瀬市の、最寄り駅と言えば最寄り駅。住んでないのでお仕事で利用するくらい。随分前、地下鉄サリン事件と半疑問形？️が騒がれ、「マディソン郡の橋」がベストセラーになった頃の記憶と奇妙に繋がっている場所です。ナショナル･ジオグラフィックのカメラマンと主婦の４日間の恋！この辺りも市政以前は「高座郡Koza County」でしたね。

隣のかしわ台駅にある東口は、旧大塚本町駅の位置にあるが、その大塚本町駅が移転した扱いになっているのが当駅であるという、複雑な経緯がある。駅は相鉄ライフと直結しており、前後の駅に比べると栄えている。
