小川町にある昭和9年開業の無人駅。近くには東武東上線の東武竹沢駅もあります。乗降客は埼玉県内の駅で最も少ないらしいです。ただ駅舎内に本棚があったり旧駅舎の頃からあった駅前の木を残したりと温かい感じのする駅です。
