ＦＩＮＥ. The place to get a transfer if you're headed to 寄居(read as Yorii) Station. I wonder if there's anything of interest in Yorii though. It's a rural town.

八王子、高崎、池袋、寄居から列車電車が集まる駅、池袋、寄居方面は全て当駅が始発となる、八高線も始発が何本かある、管理は東武、駅名は、何故か昔から小川でなくて小川町。駅前にはスーパーもありにぎやか。
東武東上線と八高線の乗り換えでは階段上で交通系カードをタッチしてから乗り換えます。 八高線も本数が少ないが、東上線も寄居まで行くには乗り換えが必要で、本数も少なくなります。
かわいい駅構内にはいろいろ掲示してあって、勉強ができます いろいろと手作り感があって、優しい気持ちになれる良い駅です
JRへの乗り換えはIC乗車券の場合1度簡易改札を利用します。
八高線の駅のホームは風情があってとても良い！
