Terrible experience at Golds gym. If you are a foreigner, staff lurks in locker rooms watching you. The water fountain tastes like chloride. Expect a case of foot fungus as the showers are absolutely disgusting. Feels like you’re walking on slime. No one speaks English when asking for help but when it comes to money or payment, they spontaneously learn English. Super unfriendly staff and generally discourteous. Will never go back... This Gold’s Gym brings shame to the brand name from the U.S.

There are several gym options for people living in the Omiya area. However, many of them are more fitness clubs than gyms. They have mostly cardio equipment and several Studios, or a pool. Gold's Gym is the only weightlifting centered fitness center in the Omiya area. On top of that, it's open 24 hours, has a 24 hour bicycle / motorcycle parking lot, and free parking for 2 hours on top of omiya station between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. The staff are friendly and helpful, some of them speak some English, and there are ample weights and machines to meet any body builder's needs. If you have a tattoo that's over 10 cm in surface area, you have to cover it, but other than that they're pretty accepting of anyone. They also have a protein bar, with a customizable menu that is reasonable. They also have a pro shop, that has lots of supplements, clothing, and equipment. They do have one studio for Studio lessons, but the majority of people in there are in there to lift.
I love the level opf equipment in the gyms and the quality of service they offer. They are pricy, but worth it.
Decent gym. However, there are too many posers and gay folk.

個人的には身体を鍛えるのが好きなので満足してます。 ただちょっと狭いです。
筋トレ初心者こそ、ゴールドジムに行け！
ゴールドジムの会員になって… 15年以上になります…! インストラクターを含め、従業員の皆さんは…他のGYMと比較しても…優秀だと思います! ただ…店舗によっては…マシンを含めメンテナンスの差があるのが…少し残念なところです… 今…コロナ感染症で世の中が一変してしまった中…コロナ対策して頂き!安心してトレーニングできることに…感謝しています!
