I was impressed with the entire sword making process. The artist who creates it must show great skill and patience.

A really nice Japanese sword museum. Excellent displays with some English information \u003e\u003e more English about the history, production, etc would be welcome. Admission is only 300, which is extremely reasonable for this quality. Try to go on one of the monthly demonstration days and watch the craftsmen make actual swords. Parking is free. Access by public transportation is difficult (from JR Oku Sta, take a taxi).
If you are a sword smith or a sword person, a must-experience! Japanese swords are very different from swords in other countries. They have exhibits and they ( Japanese artisans) show ... demonstrate / explain what process they are doing, in charge of for sword making , if you could handle Japanese, ask them in Japanese;) they would kindly answer your questions in Japanese ;)
Beautiful collection of old sword, naturally from the Bizen tradition. Workshops in the courtyard show the different artisans involved in the making of a sword. I had read wonderful things about the gift shop... Now, it is a gift shop. However, you can find there some supplies to take care of your swords. On the left side of the gift shop, there is the real sword shop...
Nice place to see craftsmen working in the sword arts and how it is done!! I do not recommend going near lunch time, as all of the craftsmen take lunch about the same time.
