Extremely arranged museum of lacquer utensils from ancient Japan. It also has a souvenir store at the first floor that sells some of the lacquer wares made today using similar techniques.

If you would like to see all kinds of wajima lacquer ware, this is a good place. They also accept repair works here.

Wonderful lacquer ware, but the market itself is not as extensive as one might imagine and the lacquer ware can be bought elsewhere. Probably not worth the drive from Kanazawa but recommended if you are closer.
